Distributor Work

Looking for advise/contacts sources to rework/ recurve a 2.4 S Bosch distributor to work on a RS spec motor with MFI. Thanks...

If you look at the stock ignition advance curve for the 2.4S and the 2.7 RS, you'll find they are very similar, especially above 3000 RPM. Infact the curves have a plus or minus value that makes them overlap almost everywhere. What I'm saying is you really don't need a recurve.

Hey Andy, That's good info. I have an RS distributor on my 73 E and struggle with high compression and fuel mixture leading to detonation. Was wondering if perhaps the RS distributor was too much but apparently not.
