Should I replace head studs?

I am rebuilding my 73.5 911T engine to stock specs. Should I replace the well fixed, original head studs in my magnesium case? The engine has not been rebuilt before, and the nuts all came off without trouble, leaving well-fixed studs in my case. I will not modify or race this engine. Obviously, removing them poses the risk of breaking them, and having to send my case out for repair. Any thoughts?

The studs were never a problem in a 73.5 T case.
2.7 was the problem.
