Not quite. But I can say that my wife wasn't too thrilled when I showed her pictures of how her dish washer made a great parts washer for my newly honed cylinders. Worked like a charm to wash out all of the honing grit; and the heated dry cycle even kept the flash corrosion at bay.

Come to think of it, she didn't find it too amusing when I pulled the transmission gear set out of the freezer either. But she quickly forgot about that when I took the synchro hubs out of the oven. Coefficients of thermal expansion can be your friend when putting together parts with a press fit.

Interesting, I wasn't thinking of the place the engine is. We assembled the lower end in the basement then carried it upstairs to button the rest up. I made a critical error though and the picture shows it. Can you spot it?

Yup, I must have grabbed the wrong one when I went to apply the sealant. I didn't catch it until I went to install the oil pressure feeds to the chain boxes.
