Who makes the best performance valve springs & retainers

Hi there seams to be many claims about performance valve springs and Titanium retainers.
I am needing a set for a race engine 3.4 lt .
Who can advise as to what has proven the best ?

I think you may want to ask who can recommend brand of springs for the cam you are running and ask who makes the lightest retainers.

Most folks on here will not be able to give a good answer since we are mostly end-users. You really need to talk to pro builders that have built and used different combinations. Even then, everyone has their favorites.

Not sure the lightest retainers (weight savings = X grams), ti or otherwise, inspire the most confidence in a high-revving race engine with significant spring loads. You might save more significant weight by using lighter valves. The lightest and strongest are probably out there, but I'd research thoroughly. Dropped valves and random engine debris are to be avoided if at all possible. For racing applications, routine inspection, maintenance and replacement are to be expected.

Eibach make an excellent set of springs. They are about 100lbs at the seat and 260lbs at .500 lift. Not so sure about retainers....

Dougherty offers springs and Ti retainers.

Valvetrain stability to 8700 rpm with a DC 90 cam

110 lbs seat and about 285-290 depending on lift
