Where is the engine lid release on a 68?

A picture would be best or a nice description. Can't seem to locate it now after I adjusted the spring catch on the engine lid. I just purchased the car so I'm not that familiar with it. I do see what looks like a broke off piece on the driver side dash near the door. Hoping that's not the location. If it is how do you release it without a popper?

Should be on the drivers door rear jam by the door handle unless its broken off?

The front one up high is for the gas door then the front lid is below the dash drivers side.

The 911 is such a weird car. That's why i love it and still successful in racing after all these years.
