Main bearings out of spec 3.2 lt .004 clearance?

Hi iam rebuilding my 19863.2 and up specking it to a 3.4, all was going well until i test fitted the in spec micro polished crank in the case fitted with new Glyco std bearings.
i used .001" to .003"plastigauge .
After torquing the through bolts to 25 ft-lbs ,i removed one engine half to reveal that the plastigauge showed .004 clearance.
i now have had it checked measured by my re conditioner with the measuring method and they got the same measurements.
1 is .004" too much?
2 what options have i got ,IE line bore, oversize on back of bearings?
Thanks

You need to find out what's out of spec? Case, crank or bearings and correct that problem.
