Question piston to head / valve clearance - How much is too much?

Hi gents, I measured the piston smush with solder and I got these numbers:

1.71 1.49 1.61. 3.0L stock everything. I used a .35 cylinder base gaskets that came with some kit I got.

I am going to order the copper gaskets (.25), will that be acceptable? That would make 1.61 1.36 1.51.
I believe the spec is 1.25 to 1.5. How close do I have to be cylinder to cylinder?

I haven't done the other side yet.
Cheers, Mike.

You mean squish?
Valves are closest to pistons mid stroke when both vales are open if I remember my facts correct.
Usually .030 squish is a good target.

Your measurement of the base gasket is incorrect.

there is .25 and .5 mm

You most likely have a .25 gasket

Your measurements are most likely inaccurate.

Careful measurement is required and you are probably within spec.

Aaron, I don't mean to be argumentative, but the package they came is says 35/K right on it. I measured with a digital mic ~ .31 to .33. Photo's to follow...
Regardless, I did receive the .25 coppers, as you said, and that is what I am going to use. Thank you for the help, gents. Cheers.

Black victor reinz are measuring ~.31 - .33. Copper ~ .24 - .25mm.

Weird, but I am using the .25 as you suggested.

Ah, I have never used the Victor Reinz products. No argument here.

If your measurements are correct, you can run no shims and be at 1.25 mm
