Does a 3.2 heat Xchr fit a 3.0 motor?
Hello,
Can I fit a heat exchanger/ cata converter from a 3.2 motor onto a 3.0 motor? thx! |

The carrera heat boxes have inserts into the head. The insert is held in place with 3 spot welds which can be chiseled off and out of the way. With the inserts removed they can install on 3.0 with the long studs to accomodate the thick flanges (US 80 to 83) or if you install long studs on any of the earlier engines.
