Cam Sprocket Tool (P9191)
I'm milling myself a P9191; have access to a machine shop and to any of the scrap metal bits. I found a nice piece of 304ss and milled it out to provide access for the socket to tighten the cam nut, but wasn't sure of the length of the three pins that interface the sprocket.
Anyone have access to the tool that would be willing to measure the length of the three pins? I assume the need to be just long enough to engage the outer sprocket. The holes on the inner/outer sprocket don't necessarily match in the area corresponding to the three pins, right? Thanks in advance. |
Outer sprocket only. Don't forget to cut the notch so the left hand tensioner doesn't get in the way. If no one chimes in before Thursday I'll measure mine when I get home for you.

Thanks anyway DSP, but I've received the answer via cross-post.

So for posterity, what was the answer?

Sorry...the pins stick out 8.4mm and are 6mm in diameter.

Thanks for adding to the knowledgebase. Hopefully you'll post a pic of your handmade tool!

I'll be sure to post a photo once I finish it up.
