What HP is safe for aircooled engine???

I'd like to reliably be in the 350-375HP to the wheels range. I'd like to think of this as a 100 hr engine (do it once, do it right, be done with it). I'll be lucky to run this car 4 weekends a year.

350-375 RWHP is about 390-420 BHP which you will not achieve using factory heads; they simply cannot flow sufficient airflow to support that. Late 993 heads are good to about 360 BHP and a little more IF they are flowed by an expert.

JMHO, but your budget is about $10K low, based on the hardware needed to get close to your target.
