IMS bearing change- 5 chain

In reading the tech doc for replacing the IMS bearing, engine in car (2003 911/996) it says to release only two of the three chain tensioners. It leaves out the chain tensioner that is below the air compressor pump. Am I accurate in assuming that because the gear is locked down and on the other end of the shaft it takes that out of the question?

Also, has anyone tried locking down the cams with the LN tool prior to locking down the sprocket with three bolts? Curious if there are holes in that position, it would add a layer of assuring the timing would remain constant/unchanged if I can lock cams first no?

Thank you.

Naed,
You should lock the cams with the LN tool and also "pin" the crank at TDC.
I did that and was successful with only removing the two flywheel end tensioners on my 2003 3.6ltr C2 Cab.
I also picked up one of these tools that made the job much easier.
