911 Newbie here
I've just found a Porsche 911T dating from 1969 in a garage and have bought it! It's been laid up for 29 years but is in great condition. Anyway I'm trying to find the engine number but so far I've found this one 6520299 but it's not the one listed on the log book. Does anybody have any idea what this number relates to? I's like to know what engine size it has. Thanks in advance.

I'm new here too and haven't gotten any answers your motor should be a 2.00 liter and a nice find by the way keep it original if you can.

Post some pics of the car and the engine as well as the engine numbers. We will help you figure out what you have.

looking at Wayne Dempsey book the number indicates that it is a 1972 911TV-E engine Type 911/57 Disp 2341
69T engines had serial number starting with 619
