Oil tank pressure test

I listed this question on the general technical forum, but thought I might do better here. I am rebuilding an '81 sc and took the pile tank for a clean and pressure test. The tank itself is not leaking, but they detected a leak internally. Does it matter if one of the internal tubes is leaking? I hate to lose money from the budget for a new tank if the old one is ok

I would go with the tank you have because the inside of the tank has to do with flow and not pressure. The system inside the tank is only for feeding the oil filter and if you think about it, it's almost 40 feet from the oil pump making pressure.
