Oil dipstick level

How warm should car be to get a good level on dipstick. I warm my car up at idle to 180* took about an hour. Read dipstick with car running. It was right in the middle of dots. Does anyone run at top dot?

Right in the middle is perfect. Do not fill any more as you move close to overfilling.

I run mine in the middle and have been told by several others that is the best place to run it.
