Good news! Success with the rest of the job

Awesome. Hopefully that was your one glitch for this project and the rest goes smoothly. Cheers, Mike.

Bores scope......

John,

Does the bore scope have a good resolution (image)? That's something I like to add to my set of tools. Thanks.

Hi John,

Good to hear it worked out. I was planning on coming out today to help you but sounds like you're all set to go now. Hit me up if you need a hand.

The bore scope has decent resolution, but it's not phenomenal, it was mostly cheap ($30). It has an LED light on the end and is just as useful as a very small flash light. The camera gets the job done with a PC laptop.

The accessories mirrors were disappointing, as they cut the visibility way down. The magnet and hook were worth the purchase. They screw on and are pretty secure. I think this purchase very useful for exactly what I used it for inspection and retrieving a fastener or tool from somewhere where you can't see. I would highly recommend it.

Luke,

You are welcome any time, just call to see if I am here. I also go out to Churchville about every other Sunday afternoon (we should be out that way this Sunday), and I would love to see what you are up to.

Wow - $30 for the scope! I thought the Harbor Freight scope I bought a couple of years ago at a bit over $100 was a super deal.

Once you have one you find various things you can do with it you hadn't thought of.

Nothing like wondering where those missing pieces might have got to.

Just for future search, the wet/dry vac suggested very early in the tread would have take care of it and minimized some stress...

BTDT, I even look on the floor as I hear the nut going in :D:rolleyes:

Glad you got the problem solve :)
