906 Cam Nuts
I know that the thread pitch on a 906 cam is 1.5mm instead of 2.0mm on a standard cam.
I suspect that the thread is an M30 rather than an M27 which is standard. Does anyone have a definitive measurement please |
I did RSR cams last year and the nut was a 42mm fine thread, never saw it before.

I thought that the RSR cam nut was 42 Across Flats and a 1.5 pitch. There are replicas being made with 46AF nuts to allow the use of standard Crow's Foot.
The size I am missing is the nominal diameter of the thread. I have found another comment that suggests that the thread is M28 x 1.5 |
The nuts were 41mm across the flats, not 42mm.
Chris, I don't believe the nuts were M30, because the chain sprocket ID is 30mm, and I don't recall the threads being the same diameter as the sprocket journal on the cam. |
