One really needs a LOT more information in order to offer you anything constructive,... :

Questions:

1) What venturies and jetting do you have?

2) What muffler do you have?

3) Whose headers are you using?

4) What octane fuel?

5) Cam timing spec? (your cams are quite mild!)

6) Precisely,....how much total timing do you have?

Once I have all this, I can offer you some substantive suggestions.

hey steve

I'm running 36 vents,155mains ,headers 1.5 ,megaphone style/I also have a 2in 2out dansk ,static time 1.26 for the 964 cam , I think this is where my problem is , I was ill advised on cam choice,26 degrees at 6k . I think I should give DC a call for a more aggressive cam .thanks for your time steve I bought my je piston from you thanks again al from mass

Hi Al!

Yessir, you need more cam to get a strong pull to 6500-7K.

I like the Webcam 120/104 for setups like yours.
