Piston Rings
I ordered a new complete set as a kit of genuine Porsche piston rings for my '69T but I was notified they are no longer available. My other option is to go with a different brand.
What do people think of these brands over the Porsche rings (makes me nervous!): Goetze Deves Any others? Any idea who may have genuine Porsche rings in this size? Piston Ring Set - Standard 1.5 - 2 - 4 mm (80.00 mm) -Cheers. -Kav. |

It's grantpistonrings.com. Grant along with Hastings and a few other companies are really old American companies that have been supplying the auto industry since the very beginning. That being said, if you still have the plain cast iron cylinders that the T came with, you should have good luck with any name brand rings. Just be sure that the cylinders are honed to the recommendations of the ring manufacturer.

I posted this question a couple years back, and was told to avoid the Deves rings.
I went with Goetze.
