Hello,

does anybody know the difference in lenght of the rod when it is cold vs. hot?

Could a difference of 2,77 mm /0,1090551" be correct?

many thanks

When cold the length varies between 14.25 to 14.75 depending on temperature and how the thermostat shims were set. When fully warmed up they are 17.10mm to 17.30 on most of them. I just grabbed one off the shelf and it was 14.5mm @ 68 degrees and went to 17.15mm fully warmed up @ about 120 degrees. So it moved 2.65mm from cold to hot.

Many thanks!!!

Do you know it it will be installed with this plate, or directly bolt onto the pump? The plate measures 2,11 mm.

Yes that is the correct plate. Install the phenolic gasket on the thermostat first then the plate next.
