Request: 2.7 RS spec Engine inspection Boulder CO
 

Hi All

I am hoping to purchase a complete 2.7 RS spec engine (untuned) from a vendor in the Boulder CO area.

The engine is built by Brad Barry.

Is there anyone out there experienced in engine rebuilds who can help me inspect this please?

Any thoughts are well received with great appreciation.

Additionally, any feedback positive or negative on Brad Barry on engines is welcome by PM.

I know Brad. I talked to him yesterday. He seems to know his stuff. If you want his phone number PM me. There are a hand full of of people who come to mind that could PPI the engine. I'm not sure if they'll drive to Boulder though. Just to mention a few and there are others, Steve Rowe, John Eisenbud, Greg Johnson, Pat Moyle. All these guys are in their 50's to 70's and have decades of MFI experience.

Greg Johnson is an air cooled specialist, a knowledgeable and meticulous engine builder who has been doing this for decades, and who worked with Grady Clay for years. He built my motor and I was impressed with him.
