The funny thing is I use to as well.. So I will clue you into what I am doing.. I am making aluminum oil tanks for 914-6 conversions and want to use 22mm thread in fittings because lots of options from there.. These would be a perfect solutionhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1453162693.jpg
Here is a quick shot of the internals |
I did a 914/6 conversion on a 70 in 1980. I recall the oil tank and the scavenge line around the front.

Yup but these are just for the tank fittings

I gave it a general look, not seeing early ones
They show up when there is no longer interest... Bruce |
If you're planning on using AN fittings, or offering the option, for the tank or oil lines? You can use an M22 adapter with AN male hose adapter threads on it.
BAT has them in aluminum alloy http://97.74.32.155/files/metric.pdf You also see on that page they offer the all-metric adapter (M22 male port to M26 or M30 female spherical) Setrab makes one with AN-12 or AN-16 male and you can get them from Elephant or Pegasus Elephant Racing | Oil Hose Adapters, Unions, and Fittings | Porsche 911/930 https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=8840 Setrab also makes a direct-fit adapter that is an M22 port fitting with a built-in 90 degree swivel & male AN-12 flare. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=8898 |
Kevin long time no see.. I did check out bat.. Will keep that in mind for the future.. I was able to order 1 of each from Jim Ellis porsche in Georgia.. I may just make a bunch of fittings moving forward

Yeah Ben it's been a long time since the winter sucks party at EuroEast in Battle Creek, MI back in the day, eh? :D
BAT is good people to work with. Their ordering process is a bit antiquated but they know their stuff and handle your order very efficiently. |
Yup now we are just a bit older and know better.. I will contact Bat
