Engine Tin Templates?
I am putting my -71 engine together and I am not sure about the "engine cooling tins" or "air baffles" They are reproduced by some preowner. Iīve done the cooling tin modification but I had overheat problem on the cyl 6 (closest to the oil cooler).
The Air baffle between cyl 6 and the oil-cooler are probably cutted to low (by me or po?) thus not letting enough air coming down to cyl 6. Instead going to the oil-cooler. Anyway I have searched the Internet for the correct dimensions or a template to reproduce them, but canīt find it. The PN for that one is 90110603901 (NLA) Does anyone have a template or dimensions to share? Thanks! Chriss |

The trimming of the dividers is on the double sided. The 78 and later have notches cutout along the cylinders by the cooler and chain boxes cuts in about 2 inches.
The 78 and later also have a cover that covers the cylinder bases except on the turbo. Bruce |

Thanks Bruce. My problem is that the one closest to the cooler are kind of ruined (Itīs cutted in that too) so what I need is the dimensions and shape (at least whatīs above the cylinder fins) on that particular one, to get enough air down to cool cyl 6. Of course I donīt want too much air either, cause then the Oil-cooler will get to little cooling.
