Another Sealant question

Any thoughts on sealant such as Curil T between head and intake manifold and intake manifold to carb. Modified 914/6 engine

With or without an accompanying gasket? Wouldn't use it with any type of fiber gasket which would potentially absorb and dry out the sealant over time. I would use regular gasket material alone.

I use a regular gasket and I rub grease into it.
Then the gasket won't stick to the mating surfaces, little clean up, you can often reuse the gasket and I've never had a leak doing it this way.
I do square up the manifold surface every time I remove it.

Many good sealants out there, but I'm not a huge fan of Curil T. I have a tube here I'll likely never open.
