Pre-Filling Carrera Tensioners

I have gone through the procedure to pre-fill the tensioner bodies outlined in the tech article, but when I was doing so I noticed no air bubbles exiting from anywhere. Is this normal?

Also, thinking about it, this is a good exercise, but there can still be air introduced into them on start-up because the oil lines feeding the cam boxes will initially be full of air that has to go someplace.

I pump them up just to be sure they pump up. That also keeps some tension on the chains for the short time it takes for the lines to fill.
