injector tubes

Let me know if this is a dumb question,,,,,I have a 79 3.0 and intake was off of engine when it was purchased, does it matter which injector hose from regulator goes to what cylinder? The way they are laid out in "harness" it seems they are formed to go to a particular cylinder yet I am still curious,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks

The three (3) shorter fuel lines are installed on the right side outlet ports of the FD and they go to cylinders 4-5-6. And the other three (3) fuel lines go the other side 1-2-3). Test fit the fuel lines with the injectors installed and re-arrange as needed. It does matter which one goes where. They are suppose to deliver equal amount of fue (ideal condition). And this is a good time to measure the individual output.
