SC Tensioner update parts

I am finishing up my 3.0 today and I have a question regarding cam tensioner parts. It has the kit for the hydraulic tensioner update. My question in on washer/spacer locations. On the left there are no spacers or washers in front or behind the idler arm or the tensioner. is this correct? On the RH side there is an aluminum washer (1 10.0 mm) that was between the tensioner and the idler. nothing behind the idler. It seems like a hardened washer would be behind both idlers to prevent the arms from rubbing on the aluminum surface of the cases. I know the arms float, and its unlikely they would rub on the backside. Waynes book shows two aluminum spacers to be used if the original arms are used with the pressure fed tensioners. The arms don't have part numbers so I don't know what I have. I am adding the stops inside the pressure fed tensioners to prevent the chain from skipping in the event the pressure fed tensioner should fail.

you should really consider upgrading to the wider arms so you don't need a spacer. I got mine locally from a friend and it felt so much better putting those on .

The early tensioners had the wider top. They went to the thicker idler with narrower tops on the tensioner about 80 or 81. The updated idlers have brass bushings inside so the don't freeze on the pin.
You need to have the filler in place

These are the idlers your referring too? I just put this one on the left side. I installed a .300 inch spacer below the hydraulic tensioner piston to prevent full collapse.

So is it correct to assume that simply press a longer bushing in will take care of it?
Anyone know the length of the longer bushing?

You have to bore the old style to 18mm then install the new bushing made with the added collar. New style, the small one measures 1.485 width and the larger one is 1.470

Is the new bushing a item that is available to purchase?
Or do I have to make it?
Can you tell me the width of the spacer collar part of bushing?

They have to be custom machined: The original tensioner OD is 1.000 so I would make the collar the same.
