Identifying JE Pistons
I am considering buying a set of low mile used JE pistons that we believe are #274048 but they are unmarked and do not have the original packaging or paperwork to verify.
https://www.jepistons.com/Products/274048.aspx The site lists some dimensions which I can verify on the parts themselves and can compare with my existing pistons but how would I go about verifying their compression ratio? My engine is currently torn down so I cant do any kind of dry fit at TDC to check. Thanks in advance.

I just found JE offers a reverse engineering service to ID their pistons.
https://www.jepistons.com/TechCorner/HowToIdentify.aspx I think Ill go this route instead. Thanks.
