2.7l head used on a 2.4l engine????
 

Can I use a 2.7l head casting number 911.104.342.2R on a 2.4l engine with heads with casting number 911.104.302.0R. ? The 2.7 head seems to measure the same. I have one bad cylinder on my race engine. This is a turbo charge engine with enlarged ports.

I think-you can and will

The 2.7 outer bevel in the chamber makes the sealing surface almost nil. That's the area toward the inside of the sealing ring on the cylinder. 2.4 on a 2.7 ok, but not VV.
