Vertex motor rebuild?
 

Don't need one, but they have an ad that a regular rebuild is $7999, turbo is $11,999.

That seems way cheaper than a lot of quotes I see posted. That's just a core rebuild at that price...

Anyone have input on quality? Better than motormeister I assume?

Do those Vertex amounts include parts or just labor? I've seen a few quality shops quote prices around $5 to $6K for labor to rebuild an engine but that doesn't include machining or parts.

It's a core exchange, includes parts and labor. Ad was in the last panorama magazine...

And they won'tr accept any 2.7l as core.

Looks like the rebuild assumes everything is reusable, including crank and Pistons with no bottom end work. Heads are redone...

Caveat: If your returned engine core requires cylinder re-sleeving this will be completed at an extra cost. How Much?

So just a Top End? a bit pricey no?
