Drill 2.4 MFI throttle body idle passage 3mm to 4mm?
A 2.4S tb idle passage measures 3mm and I need to know what might be gained or lost by enlarging them to 4mm on an engine built to RS spec. I believe the 4mm size info comes from Henry but I can't find a source for this info from Porsche.
Maybe with today's gas formulation it is moot? Anybody have any thoughts as to why a 4mm hole would be needed only on the RS spec engine? And I searched for a long time on this one....

More air for the idle circuit in the larger displacement engine is my guess
I did something similar on my hot built MFI spica alfa motor |
