Something different

I did some modifications on my 3 liter SC engine .the car is a 1983 model coupe, and I'd like to know what the ignition setting is.
I raised the compression ratio from a 8,5:1 to a 9,8:1 Europian setting .
and I swapped the stock SC camshafts for 964 RS cams.
To my opinion the ignition point on the crank pulley should change .
Now can you tell me if this is the case where can I put a marker point how many degrees before TDC on the crank pulley

I don't have info to confirm this. You can look to the engine the camshafts came from, is the cam / crank angle different?

I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.

You can only run just so much advance before pre ignition.
The point being TDC is a point that doesn't change in reference to the crank or cam timing. Because of the high domes you can't advance the cams much past ideal settings, 1.25mm
