Curious, what magic goo did you put on oil return tube o-rings and also the o ring behind the camshaft retaining plate?

The "magic goo" is Dow 55 o-ring lubricant. Experience shows us that Dow 55 is a exceptional product for building these engines because it lubricates the o-ring for ease of assembly and as the engine heats up, the chemical properties of this Mill spec lubricant causes the seal to swell slightly to increase surface contact and increase "crush resistance".

The fan shroud is a replica of the factory Amber racing shroud. Sometimes the computer distorts the tint.

We don't work on the cars so we rarely have pictures of the finished project.
If this customer chooses to send me a picture, I'll post it with his permission.

I like the jet nuts you are using on the carb flanges. What are they 12mm across the flats?

The Jet nut on the intake manifold is a 8x1.25 with a 10mm head. It's one of the few nuts that fit the PMO manifold.
The nut we like for mounting the carburetor is a tall 8x1.25 with an 11mm head. The tall nut makes for easy access.
We have a kit that includes 12 Jet nuts, 12 tall nuts and 12 an washers.
