The left side is the first one to set so that has to be correct.
I would move the distributor rotor 180 and see If the other side lights off If the left side is cold when you installed the distributor, you were and are 180 out presently Bruce |
Ok , i'm going to move the distributor 180° , and if the right cylinder bank lights off , what must i do after ???

If it easier, you can check if the intake and exhaust valves open at the same time on cyl 1 and 4. If they do, one of the cams are off by 360 degrees

Left bank is the bank that sets first when you're building.
Both cams have to be dot up and pinned when you start to line cams Dial Gage on #1 intake, 360 degrees on the crank. That number should be the valve opening measurement. Dial gage on the other #4 intake 360 degrees to match the left cam you can move the pin and cam to give you your matched setting Bruce |
