Oil Line for Chain Tensioner Upgrade - Early Cars

I am upgrading to Carrera chain tensioners on a 1970 911 motor and have noticed that the oil line is not long enough to reach since the oil pressure sender is located at the rear. I am trying to source the proper line with no luck.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Vinny,

Either have a custom hose made (Amazon hose is nearby) or source an original porsche part.

The later cars used a sender block attached to the case fitting, then a short hose from there. I don't know why your hose is too short, but there is one that fits in the factory catalog, because you're basically replicating what the later cars did.

From what I can tell, the distance the line is short is the length of the oil pressure sender which makes sense since the later engine has the sender in the front vs. the rear.

I guess what I have is the later oil line, and I need the Retro-fit "Upgrade" oil line.

Hi, does anyone have the part number for the longer right side cam oil line specifically for pre-73 engines using the later hydraulic tensioner kit?

It is a slightly longer oil line as the early engines have the oil pressure sender at the rear of the engine and not in-line at the front like on later cars.

Thanks

The longer oil line for the right side was used by Porsche on the 964 turbos

Genuine Porsche part number 930-107-348-10, this line is no longer available and was superseded by a new part number, 930-107-348-15

Pelican also sells there own version, part number PEL-CLIN-KTN
