Source for 3.6 stock wrist pin CLIPS

I know when I took my engine apart I deliberately threw away the wire pin clips because i didn't want to reuse them after potentially damaging them during removal.
I have contacted Pelican, and they only sell the tool to install them, not the actual part.

It seems to be dealer only, and my local dealer isn't picking up the phone right now.

Are there any sources for these? is there a "non Porsche part" clip that has been tried and true by anyone out there.

I can't imagine that everyone is buying new P/C kits every time, and or has never rocketed one of those little SOBs across the shop into the abyss.

I'm running stock 964 pistons and rods.

Thanks!

Go to EBS, sure they have them. They will be the same as 3.2, 23mm

Bruce... I had already ordered them before I saw your note.
I ended up going with sun coast porsche because they answered their phone.
It was like $60 for those clips that look like they cost a fraction of a penny each.
Oh well.
I did take a quick look and didn't see them on EBS. Not sure why no one stocks them. All the dealers were out of stock too, suncoast had to order them for me, and said no one in the network had them.

+1

It really helps to call EBS directly and speak to Don or Jon about what parts you need - -
AND ask them for any advice they might offer on your particular project . . .
They have been a big help to us and our 3.8L project over the last 4 years . . . the same applies
to Pelican . . . and we have bought a lot of parts from both.
