Sealing Crankcase Cast-on Oil Pipe TSB
Searching threads here revealed this TSB.
One thread said it applied only to L series: 62L11289-62L11307, 62L12581-62L12801, 62L51104-62L51140 Not sure if this is correct or what L series means. Are these Chassis or Engine number for Model year 1978/79? My 1974 Chassis #9114400346 Engine #6341983 has something there as pictured but I don't know if it leaks. Thanks for any replies. ![]() ![]()

Pretty sure that just applies to the later aluminum case for the SC, turbo, etc.
You just have to clean well, then put an epoxy like JB weld or loctite 9340 over it.
