Break in question...

I have about 150 miles PLUS one autocross on my newly rebuilt motor.

Question, should I change the break-in oil now or wait until the 500 miles are up?

AX!?!,I would change it now, AX was good enough break in of the rings. Wow you brave Brother!

I took it on a 70 mile spirited drive after the first 20 miles of the old on off break in was completed a couple of weeks ago.

A few more spirited drives then an AX on Saturday! Seemed like a good way to seat the rings.

My first DE is in a week and a half. :D Fresh oil is probably a good idea.

Eh, it's only cheap ( or should have been ) breakin oil.

I am planning to visit Moms 500 mile round trip to break mine in after 20 mile hard break in to seat the rings

Wayne's book suggests changing oil after first initial drive (about 85 miles) and then again at 500 miles. I am following that plan.
