3.0 intermediate shaft
 
Took the aluminum end plug out of my intermediate shaft for a clean & flush.
don't remember the orientation of the plug.... threads facing in or out

Aren't the threads there to help you pull it out? So they would be out. But as far as the oil is concerned, a plug is a plug.
