Rod Bolts -Manufacturer?

These rod bolts are from a 3.6 l engine and are inscribed with the letters RIBE 2.9.

Anyone know if these are stock or aftermarket bolts.

Thank you

I would have guessed those were stock and the 1 in 12.9 wasn't showing up... but my stock 12.9 s didnt have those fancy nuts. I've attached all the factory rod bolt info that I'm aware of (that doesn't mean there isn't more). If you can't positively identify them, you need to junk them, or you wont be able to torque them. If they are stock, you also need to junk them because they are one time use.

Thank you , makes sense. The 2.9 is more than likely 12.9 (spec)
So now the mystery is to identify the 12 pt nuts,or as you suggest , scrap them .
I will not chance it if they aren't the real deal.
Also notice the head is completely round , there are no wing "locks" on them.

Looks like someone used some 928 nuts when they built that engine.

The 12 point nuts and rod bolts look like stock ones for a 993.
I believe the Porsche part number for 6 point 964 rod nuts supersede to the 993 12 point ones.

either way, as smokintr6 suggests, I would replace them

Thanks To All , these are factory rod bolts as per jrb 's note above. The 964's used 6 pt and the switch was made to 12 pt nuts in the 993 production yrs.

The ARP replacement bolts are en route. These are like engine jewelry,iMO. Precision manufactured to the nines. They even feel like jewelry,Its a shame to bury them in the case.
