help Piston 911T 1969 orientation ?

hi team

please help for my recondition porsche 911T 1969 just question :

The piston has a flat surface. I ask myself the question of meaning. The flat is of the exhaust or intake valve side ? :(

I have to admit, that picture looks a little...odd. Maybe post a few more?

Here's the thing. Most all the pistons I've seen pictured have a lot more relief for the valves on 80mm pistons, even the low compression 2.0T. You can kind of get the idea in this manual page:

Generally speaking, the area with greater relief goes under the intake. The intake valve is larger and lifts just a smidge more if I read Elgin's chart correctly.

What are the casting numbers inside the piston?
