And the reseal starts. First up I inserted the new stud with a coating of Loctite 263. I did the same to one of the studs holding the oil pump in. As soon as the Loctite cures I can take the nuts off them. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498517316.jpg

Next up was a lot of cleaning with IPA, then blowing clean air into the galleries.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498517792.jpg I then renumbered the bearing areas based on photos I took at the time of disassembly. These match the bearing shell numbers so everything goes back exactly where it came from. I cleaned each bearing shell with White Spirits. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498517684.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498517722.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498517764.jpg |

Crankshaft seal part-installed, assembly grease on bearings and place the crankshaft in. I didn't put it fully in as I need to do the nose bearing sealant at the same time as I start to seal the case. That will be this weekend.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1498645435.jpg
