Which cam for Weber carbed 3.0 and something else

A friend of mine is building a 3.0 and was wondering which cam would suit his engine. He is going to run the engine with Webers.

EDIT: Sooo, without changing the pistons the 20/21 cam would be maximum without valves hitting pistons?

(His last engine which was originally 2.7 was converted into 2.5 short stroke (?? or so he says) blew up. )

He has an extra CIS injection system from that 2.7 (2.5) and I was wondering if it would be suitable for my 2.4T which is now running webers. Whats the going price for complete CIS system nowadays?

Yes, according to WebCam that is the best cam you can use.. Added benefit is that it also works with CIS. I talked to them if they could do any better than that if I was using Webers and they said "not really" because the pistons are the limitation

Terve Zelander. Send me some direct e-mail (timo.kirkkomaki@sroy.fi) and I will try to help you. I have 3.0L engine with CIS pistons, old Solex cams and Webers.

Where do you live ?? In Helsinki too ?? :D
