Alternator and Starter Upgrades

Are there any recommended upgrades for the alternator and starter for the 911SC? By that I mean an increased capacity alternator or higher HP starter? I'm about at that point in my SC project. In lieu of that does anyone know of a reliable rebuild shop for these units? We used to have an automotive electrical shop here in CHA that was a Bosch service center, but they are long gone.

The lighter, high torque starter, sold by Pelican is a good choice.
Moveing up to a Carrera alternator requires the Carrera fan housing, very expensive combination considering you already are making power.

Not sure why you would need or want more power from the alternator? The high torque starter, as mentioned, is a good choice if you need a new starter.

Thanks. I will look into the starter and forget the alternator, although it probably needs to be checked out.
