OK, so it's a Turbo, I missed that, douh. Not sure about using steel head studs on a Turbo. I thought you had and SC....

Why would steel be bad? Pelican states these are the upgrade for the stock dilivar and a 930 part?...

If I need to get the fancy ones I can...just making sure its necessary...

Bruce is the authority. Sorry, I read the whole post and never saw you mention you had a turbo.

I assume all dilivar... It's an upper one that broke and its non ferrous...

Looked up the paperwork on my car from a po, said it made 400hp with higher boost.... I know he was runnin over 1 bar...

My goal is 0.8 bar on the track, 1 bar on the street...

Is that in territory for stock steel studs? Or is that beyond that?

Bruce, steel still ok since it's a turbo? Or supertec the better choice?

I suppose I can do the latter, price won't kill me...

On a street car, either will work. I still like the fine threads on the end of the supertec.
Why the Porsche didn't do it, they went that way on the through bolts but not on the head studs.
