Arp studs on Amazon real or fake?
Plan to buy most of my stuff from pelican, to support the site...
Out of interest, Googled arp head studs on google for the 911, found tons of sellers. Some had the full set with nut for less than $500. Some were $670 for just the studs... And $200 for nuts... What's the deal? Are the lower priced ones real? Are people knocking off head studs? |
Dunno, but a call to ARP would iron that out quick

Real. I bought mine through amazon.

Surprised at the huge price variations... |
Mine were sold and shipped by EBS through Amazon's storefront, so I was not concerned about authenticity.
As soon as you open the box and see how nice they look and fit, you'll understand. |
Why worry about the authenticity of ARP head studs when you can buy Supertec head stud from our host.
Most here would agree Supertec studs are the better choice. |
Because ARPs cost about $100 less.

Price not a factor, I would prefer the Supertech to support a board member and Pelican... Still leaning that way... They seem like really nice studs :)
But when I see ARP on the net for $500 or so... I haven't gotten one of those pelican emails with a discount code in a long time... what happened to those? :) Do they still do the 10% off sales? |
You can't go wrong either way with ARP or Supertec, but it seems from 2nd hand Supertec has a couple of nice features others don't have.
