What type of Bearings to buy?

I am just getting ready to buy my gaskets and bearings for my engine. Now I know that the parts on Pelican Parts are always priced competitively but when I was looking around for bearings I found that I could buy a whole Glyco kit with Main, Intermediate, and Rod bearings for $100. When I looked on the website here the price for all these parts was closer to $250. So I guess my question is why the big spread in price. I thought Glyco was the brand to use for bearings, am I wrong? What brand does PP sell?

I read an article in "Velocity" the POC mag, they recommended buying your bearing sets from PCNA they mentioned most outside supliers supply the wrong rear thrust bearing...However i have built a number of 911 engines... usually with bearings and gaskets from whomever had the best price..... my engines usually last till "operator error"
