				69T won't start time for a reduild?

Hi have been away from the forum for a while and having trouble getting my car to start. I had the compression numbers checked last year by a mechanic who has experience with these cars. I thought the numbers were a little low. 1. 100psi 2. 100psi 3. 100 psi 4. 98 psi 5. 90 psi 6. 100 psi. A leak down test wasn't done and the car was running fine when it left the shop last year. The car has always burned oil and figured a rebuild was inevitable but would the low compression prevent the car from starting? I found the one accelerator jet wasn't working too well so I removed the carbs and cleaned all the tubes and they seemed to be working well. I reinstalled the carbs today and still won't start. The battery is a little old but was boosting with a larger battery with little success. Stumped, any help would be appreciated. | ||

The numbers are quite low, but i reckon you should still be able to get it to start. Check for spark. Are you running CDI ignition, which you should be for a 69? If you are running a conventional coil/condenser, then it would be a pig to start, at least its what i have noticed on cars where the cdi was missing.
