Part number needed for RSR rocker shaft seal

Guys
Wayne's book reccomends using the RSR version and not the original.
What's the part number for this ?
Thanks
Frank

Find one of my prior threads. Some other guy found o rings that work...

$60 for some tiny gaskets seems hard to absorb...

4$ each. Need 24? $96....

That may just be the most overpriced Porsche part in existence....

Designed to help solve a very specific problem: oil leaks between the rocker shafts and the camshaft housings. If $100 keeps your 911 from leaking, that's a helluva bargain.

Especially if your alternative is new rocker shafts or replacing camshaft housings.

Chris how often do these leak? Is this recommended on all rebuilds?

We do them on every engine we build, figuring it's cheap insurance
Every little bit helps on these engines when oil leaks are the bane of 911 ownership.

Thanks guys...
Also found them for $2.25 each on ECS.
Thanks for comments and info

We put them on every build we do as well. Cheap insurance. Did they all need it? Don't know. But we know none of the motors ever leak...

How on earth do you fit them, do you chamfer the bores??
I tried but they just sheer off when I tried installing some on my engine.

Fitted to the groves in the shaft they have always slid right in to the bores. We had some a few years ago that would get a "haircut" when we inserted them but we don't source from that vendor any more. We do install the shaft with a light coat of oil as well.
