oil cross over line w/ headers ?

all;
decided to go w/ headers & am just now discovering that the stock oil crossover line doesn't like the idea. can someone point me in the right direction re: a solution.
I'm keeping the headers.
engine is a 2.7L
headers are 1 5/8" Cyclone.
TIA

I just built a 3.0 with a 70/71 911 trans. The under bell didn't work because the clutch cable anchor so owner went to elephant and got a metal, over the top oil scavenge line, like the rubber hose used in the years.
Very nice piece and did what we needed.

That may be your best solution, depending. My '71 had the oil line, actually a hose, going over the transmission. I used stainless braided aeroquip hose on my car.

The year car you are using and the oil tank configuration, may be a consideration on what type of oil line you choose to use.

@ Bruce; anything, correction, *everything* that Chuck does will be spot on. his list of solutions has expanded quite a bit since the last time I looked.
@ Gordon... you're right. my application is more custom than not. ie; '66 tub w/ bastardized '72 reservoir & twin front coolers.
hose over the trans it is. now to actually make it all happen :D
thanks guys.

:)

Since you have a custom oil system, I may be able to help.

Here is my Cross-Over hose in M30 similar to the 70-71 911 factory configuration:

This one ends at the Oil Cooler as the factory Cross Under line does.

I can make yours to order. You provide the measurements or I send you one partially assembled and you make the fitment and return it for final crimping. Also available in Yellow Zinc and/or Braided SS hose.

Here is an example of my Hi-Rise Hose set for extra "Fat Tire" clearance:

Priority Mail is reasonable for the extra shipping and the result is exactly to your design.
