Nux, what did you end up doing?

I am about to order some CP 10.5 pistons for my 3.0 Carrera motor. It is using 40mm itbs, efi and race header exhaust.

Or should I only get the 9.5:1?

I ended up just re-using the Max Moritz pistons. I measured my CR to 9.3. I'm running 43mm ITB, single plug with DC20 Cams. This engine pulls quite hard above 3500rpm.

I have a friend who's racing a single plug 3.0 with EFI on an SC plenum, 10.5cr Wössner pistons and 993SS cams. No issues so far. 245isch hp. I think the old SC plenum is what keeps his engine together. Not sure this combo would work with ITB's.
